Loom is extracting metadata from Canadian case law to provide analytics such as win/loss rates and publication times based on factors such as the facts of the case, type of motion or trial and the judge or master who heard the case. These historical statistics are extracted using a combination of machine learning and lawyers.

Job Description

Our team is looking to expand our lead generation team and we’re looking for a sharp individual with a desire to grow with a fast-moving company. The Inside Sales/Lead Generation specialist will generate revenue by contacting small and mid-size companies, generating leads and meetings for the core sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for career growth into technology/SaaS sales. While we have the flexibility to work from home, the role requires you to come into our office at Yonge & Sheppard occasionally.   • Prospect new sales opportunities with small and medium businesses applying lead generation sales methodologies
  • Meet or exceed quotas for qualified leads/appointments passed to sales team through strategic LinkedIn, email and phone-based prospecting
  • Promptly follow-up with and qualify marketing-generated inquiries for our services;
  • Perform all lead nurturing activities once qualified prospects identified
  • Research and gather information about target SMBs and develop prospecting lists
  • Qualify prospects, arrange sales appointments, perform online research to prepare for client visits
  • Conduct web research and navigate organizations’ sites to uncover appropriate contacts
  • Document all activities and interactions in the company’s CRM tool
  • Efficiently manage prospect pipeline to produce maximum results
  • Create and perform various outbound call campaigns around verticals, specific events, or targets in addition to ongoing primary lead generation activities
  • Support our direct or indirect channel sales efforts as needed or requested
  • Heavy phone prospecting in order to set qualified appointments
  • Utilize a conversational approach to uncover and qualify new business opportunities

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Two to three years previous lead generation experience for enterprise software. Small/medium business sector a plus
  • Strong phone prospecting and marketing skills; ability to reach prospects creatively, identify decision makers, handle objections positively and professionally
  • Maintain CRM data, ability to share best practices, continually improve processes and provide clear and consistent reporting to management
  • Proactively manage your schedule and leads pipeline in order to meet milestones and objectives
  • Field inbound calls and leads from various sources and qualify for business potential
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver above-expectation results in driving pipeline growth
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct extensive outbound cold calling
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills; detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
